Veit Harlan was born on September 22, 1899 in Berlin, Germany. He was a director and actor, known for Die goldene Stadt (1942), Der große König (1942) and Jud Süß (1940). He was married to Kristina Söderbaum, Hilde Körber and Dora Gerson. He died on April 13, 1964 in Capri, Italy.

Emilie Autumn Liddell, better known by her stage name Emilie Autumn, is an American singer-songwriter, poet and violinist. Autumn draws influence for her music the style of which she has alternatively labeled as "Victoriandustrial" and glam rock from plays, novels and history, particularly the Victorian era. Performing with her all-female backing band The Bloody Crumpets, Autumn incorporates elements of classical music, cabaret, electronica, and glam rock with theatrics, and burlesque. Growing up in Malibu, California, she began learning the violin at the age of four and left regular school five years later with the goal of becoming a world-class violinist; she practiced eight or nine hours a day and read a wide range of literature. Progressing to writing her own music, she studied under various teachers and went to Indiana University, which she left over issues regarding the relationship between classical music and the appearance of the performer. Through her own independent label Traitor Records, Autumn debuted with her classical album On a Day: Music for Violin & Continuo, followed by the release in 2003 of her album Enchant. She appeared in singer Courtney Love's backing band on her 2004 America's Sweetheart tour and returned to Europe. She released the 2006 album Opheliac with the German label Trisol Music Group. In 2007, she released Laced/Unlaced; the re-release of On a Day... appeared as Laced with songs on the electric violin as Unlaced. She later left Trisol to join New York-based The End Records in 2009 and release Opheliac in the United States, where previously it had only been available as an import. Currently she is on tour to promote her newest album Fight Like A Girl. She played the role of Painted Doll in Darren Lynn Bousman's 2012 film The Devil's Carnival.

He began his career playing in short films, and acted in 91 films in total, most notably those of Fernandel. Most of his films were French; he did, however, also appear in German and Italian works, especially co-productions with French companies. He also served occasionally as an assistant director, screenwriter, technician, and film editor. Dopo aver conseguito la maturità scientifica, frequenta il corso di "Tecnica del Suono" presso il Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia di Roma, al termine del quale assume l'incarico di "Assistente" del medesimo corso di studi fino all'anno 2002. Successivamente consegue la Laurea in Giurisprudenza presso l'Università degli Studi di Roma "La Sapienza” e in seguito l'abilitazione alla professione forense. Nel 2017 entra a far parte del "Consiglio Direttivo" dell'Associazione Italiana Tecnici del Suono, incarico che mantiene fino all'anno 2021. Nell'ambito della sua attività professionale realizza il "Suono in Presa Diretta” per vari lavori cinematografici e televisivi e tiene incontri sul "Suono Cinematografico" in varie Scuole ed Università italiane tra cui l'Accademia di Belle Arti di Frosinone, l'Università degli Studi della Tuscia e l'Università per Stranieri di Perugia.

Catherine Ribeiro (22 September 1941 – 23 August 2024) was a French singer. Ribeiro was an experimental folk and avant-garde performer whose work has attained a cult following. With her band Catherine Ribeiro + Alpes, she released several albums in the late 1960s and early 1970s, including Catherine Ribeiro & 2Bis in 1969, No.2 in 1970, and Paix in 1972. From the late 1970s, Ribeiro also released music as a solo artist. Public figures who have expressed appreciation for her work include the musicians Kim Gordon and Julian Cope, as well as the French mathematician Cédric Villani. Ribeiro died on 23 August 2024, at the age of 82.
