Quando Sam e Thea, due studentesse di college, incontrano Coles in un party, scoppia fra i tre una forte attrazione. Dopo aver passato insieme un'indimenticabile notte piena di passione, nasce tra loro un legame intenso e perverso. Questo strano intreccio di amicizia e sesso però s'inclina quando tra Sam e Coles nasce qualcosa di più. Otto anni dopo i tre si rincontrano.
