La storia è ambientata in un futuro dove gli avanzamenti tecnologici e scientifici hanno portato grandi innovazioni nel campo della robotica e tra i tanti upgrade, le protesi sono ormai incredibilmente sofisticate, al punto da portare gli atleti disabili a essere delle vere e proprie star. Maria, disabile e atleta, vuole competere contro sua sorella, ma per farlo si ritroverà ad entrare in un mondo di crimine e violenza.
