Hlynur Pálmason (born 30 September 1984; Hornafjörður) is an Icelandic film director, screenwriter, and visual artist. Hlynur Pálmason was born in 1984 in Höfn í Hornafirði, Iceland. He studied film at the National Film School of Denmark in Copenhagen, graduating in 2013. He lived in Denmark for 10 years before returning to Höfn, a town on the Hornafjörður fjord. He is also a visual artist. Pálmason has said he is more interested in "the narrative style and flow of films" than the actual plotline. His debut feature film Winter Brothers (Vinterbrødre), which was filmed in Denmark, debuted at the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland in 2017. It went on to win the Bodil Award for Best Danish Film and the Robert Award for Best Danish Film, with Pálmason also winning the Robert Award for Best Director. His second feature film, A White, White Day (Hvítur, Hvítur Dagur), was filmed in Iceland, and many of the people he had worked with on Winter Brothers were also employed for this film, including the actor German cinematographer Maria von Hausswolff [de], editor Julius Krebs Damsbo, and sound designer Lars Halvorsen. He had previously collaborated with Icelandic actor Ingvar Sigurðsson on the short film he made for graduation, The Painter, in 2013. A White White Day was selected to screen in the Critics' Week section at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival, and was selected as Iceland's submission for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film at the 92nd Academy Awards in 2020. He followed up in 2022 with Godland (Vanskabte Land), which premiered at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival and was selected as Denmark's 2022 submission for the Nordic Council Film Prize. The film, its director, and several actors were nominated for many awards and won a number of them, including Gold Hugo for Best Feature Film at the Chicago Film Festival and Best Feature Film at the Riga International Film Festival in Latvia.

Brittany S. Hall was born on September 30th in Washington D.C. and raised in the D.C./MD area where she discovered her love for the performing arts. At an early age she began performing in school plays, community plays, and dance recitals. As a member of her high schools theatre group, Brittany wrote her first play which she performed with the group in front of the entire school during the Annual Holiday Rally. Brittany continued studying theatre in college where she studied as a Theatre Major at Frostburg State University. In 2009, Brittany was cast in VH1's hit reality Show "Real Chance of Love 2," where she was given the nickname "Hot Wings." She instantly became a favorite of producers and viewers and went on to be one of the winners of the show. In 2011, while living in New York City, Brittany found another stage in Stand Up Comedy. She performed at one of NYC's most popluar comedy clubs Laugh Lounge. In 2015, she was cast for the recurring role of "Rosalie" on the USA series "Satisfaction". Her character returned for the second season as a series regular. It is also in 2015 when Brittany decided to stop working under her stage name. In 2017, Brittany joined Season 3 of HBO's Ballers as Amber. She was upped to series regular for Season 4, which is now in production. She also appears alongside Sanaa Lathan in Netflix's original comedy "Nappily Ever After." In 2018 Brittany founded ACTORS PLAY LA, a community organization and training facility for actors located in Hollywood, California.
