He is particularly noted as the director of the early series of Absolutely Fabulous (1992–2001), the musical comedy Spiceworld, and of the second series of Fawlty Towers (1979). He also worked with Steven Moffat on Press Gang and Joking Apart. Spiers won a BAFTA Award twice for his work as a television comedy director.

La'Myia Janae Good–Bellinger (born September 27, 1979) is an American singer and actress. She is the older sister of actress Meagan Good and older cousin of actor/singer Dijon Talton. She is best known for her voice work in the blockbuster PlayStation 3 game Killzone 3 as the voice of Jammer and her work with R&B group Isyss. Good has appeared in numerous television shows such as Tall Hopes, Sister, Sister, The Parent 'Hood, Smart Guy, ER, The Parkers, and Judging Amy. She has also appeared in films such as The Wood.

Of his hundreds of roles, he is best remembered for playing the flamboyant and hapless criminal Harry Mudd on the original Star Trek. Other memorable roles include the accountant Doug Wesley on The Dick Van Dyke Show and Colonel Gumm on Batman. He also appeared in roles on Patty Duke Show, I Spy, Hogan's Heroes, Banacek. The Man from U.N.C.L.E., The Munsters, Hawaii Five-O, and many other shows. He also appeared in such movie classics as Alfred Hitchcock"s North by Northwest. Carmel was also the voice of Smokey Bear in fire safety advertisements, as well as Decepticon Lieutenant Cyclonus, amongst others in the second and third seasons of the popular Transformers animated series. In the TV commercials for the Naugles chain of Mexican fast-food restaurants, he played the character of Señor Naugles. He also appeared in Jerry Lewis's comeback 1981 film, Hardly Working. Carmel starred as Roger Buell in the 1967 NBC sitcom The Mothers-in-Law, but was replaced by Richard Deacon. Officially, Carmel had a salary dispute with producer Desi Arnaz, although, according to rumors, he was fired because his drug use interfered with production. Carmel was slated to reprise his role as Harry Mudd in the Star Trek: The Next Generation first season finale episode, The Neutral Zone, but died before filming could commence. He died in Hollywood, California, of congestive heart failure due to an enlarged heart muscle. Carmel is interred in New Mount Carmel Cemetery in Glendale, Queens, New York. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Mel Berns (September 27, 1897 - May 7, 1977) was an American make-up artist. He was the Head of Makeup at RKO Pictures for more than twenty years. Berns began his career in the entertainment industry while working as an agent at the William Morris Agency. Later he became the Head of Makeup at RKO Pictures for more than twenty years, creating the makeup for Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers and Katharine Hepburn's screentest. He was a lifelong friend of Ginger Rogers, who makes ample reference to their friendship in her autobiography: Ginger: My Story. He worked extensively in television after leaving RKO, notably the Perry Mason series. "The crew is giving it the best of Hollywood's techniques," Burr told columnist Erskine Johnson. The crew included veteran make-up artist Berns. The baseball player Babe Ruth had severe scarring from acne on his face. Mel Berns developed makeup for Ruth so that Ruth could feel more comfortable in public. A picture of Ruth and Berns shows Ruth in a smock and Berns applying makeup to his face. The picture is autographed to Berns by Babe Ruth.
