Yoko Asagami (麻上 洋子 Asagami Yōko, born July 10, 1952 in Otaru, Hokkaido) is a Japanese voice actress who is represented by Aksent. She is most known for the roles of Yuki Mori (Space Battleship Yamato) and Saeko Nogami (City Hunter). Her married name is Yōko Ōkubo (大久保 洋子 Ōkubo Yōko).[citation needed] In 1992, she began to study traditional Japanese storytelling kōdan under the master Teisui Ichiryūsai (一龍斎 貞水 Ichiryūsai Teisui). He has been noted for his supporting roles in successful Hollywood films during the 1950s and 1960s along with his starring role in the ABC television series The Rebel (1959). Decades after Adams' death from a prescription drug overdose at the age of 36, his widely publicized friendships with James Dean and Elvis Presley would stir speculation about both his private life and the circumstances of his death. Joseph Shuster (July 10, 1914 – July 30, 1992), was a Canadian-American comic book artist best known for co-creating the DC Comics character Superman, with Jerry Siegel, in Action Comics #1 (cover-dated June 1938). Shuster was involved in a number of legal battles over ownership of the Superman character. His comic book career after Superman was relatively unsuccessful, and by the mid-1970s, Shuster had left the field completely due to partial blindness. He and Siegel were inducted into both the comic book industry's Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 1992 and the Jack Kirby Hall of Fame in 1993. In 2005, the Canadian Comic Book Creator Awards Association instituted the Joe Shuster Awards, named to honor the Canada-born artist.
